The 4 star Menlo Park Hotel is recruiting an experienced receptionist to join our team. Working at reception you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and enjoy working in a busy environment.
At the Menlo Park hotel we are committed to making our guest experience exceptional by providing a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service throughout their stay. As the reception is the first point of contact, the successful candidate will focus on providing consistent high performance and adhere to standards whilst focusing on guest care.
- Checking in and out guests
- To respond to guest feedback in a positive manner to ensure that their needs are met.
- Taking individual reservations
- Carry out reception duties to operational standards
- To ensure that all charges are correctly posted to guest bills and to process payments.
- Update websites and channel management in the absence of the Front office Manager
It is essential that the successful applicant has experience of using a hotel computer system, a knowledge of Hotsoft is an advantage, though training will be given. Fluent written and spoken English is required. Experience of Service Excellence and Best Practice is an advantage.
