Here at the Menlo Park hotel we so look forward to welcoming you back. Our team is looking forward to fulfilling the basic principles of our mission statement which is to provide excellent

service and unrivalled hospitality. We are a close-knit team and we have worked hard to keep our team together and support everyone through this and we so look forward to welcoming everyone back to work. 


Given the particular circumstances we find ourselves in now, we have developed our own Stay Happy, Stay Safe Programme. Our Stay Safe programme ensures that the health and safety of our guests, employees and suppliers is of the utmost priority. This has involved the introduction of a range of protocols and systems to ensure as much as possible that our guests will have a safe and enjoyable stay and while we will have to make some changes to

the way we operate this will always form the basis on which we operate.

Our protocols include advanced sanitisation, new technologies, and effective physical distancing measures. We are also part of the Fáilte Ireland Covid-19 Safety charter. 


Our Stay Happy, Stay Safe Experience for You our Guest

Before you arrive at the hotel, you will have the option of checking in online, so all you have to do is collect your bedroom key from our screened reception desk.

Of course, you will have the option of checking in the usual way, should you choose to do so. Online/express check-out will also be an option.

The public areas will be cleaned continuously throughout each day.

As you arrive at your bedroom door, it will have a seal that will break on entering. This seal will be placed only when each room is cleaned thoroughly and all key touchpoints are sanitised to a

professional level. All brochures and other items have been removed from the bedrooms but can either be found online or brought to the room by request.

We have a range of food and beverage options with in-room and main restaurant dining options available. Information on these will be available inhouse. The main food and beverage hub of the

hotel will be the P.Francis & Son bistro. Hot breakfast will be served by the chef and our cold buffet has been redesigned with items individually wrapped for your convenience. 

A range of hotel takeaway/ room service items will also be available and You can order and pay by dialling 0 from your room. This will entail evening service as well as our selection of breakfast bags

and range of coffees which can be served to your room. Our staff will adhere to strict protocols ensuring that the health and safety of our guests as well as staff themselves Is to the fore.


There are numerous other initiatives we are undertaking to ensure as much as possible the health and safety of all our guests, employees and suppliers. We provide hand sanitizers at several key

points around the hotel, appropriate personal protection equipment is made available to staff and gloves and facemasks are being used where appropriate. Plate covers will be used for plate service.


Our Management team have created handbooks and staff training documents on the basis of risk assessments of all areas so that the appropriate protocols can be adhered to in the various

departments. All staff returning to work undergo a thorough re-induction and training programmeto ensure that protocols are adhered to diligently.

Our main focus, as always is on offering you the welcome and hospitality which we are known for. Our goal is that whether you are visiting on business or for leisure, for You to have a relaxed and

enjoyable stay, and that we will be doing everything we can to make this happen.
